It seems Smart Albums is still based off of Intel architecture, and my M3 MBP doesn't seem to love running it. It works, but seems very inefficient, uses lots of energy, memory, etc. Would like to be taking advantage of the new Apple processors, as I imagine most users use as well.

This is something we are working towards. I can't give you a date yet but the team is taking the steps to making SA more efficient with newer Apple processors.

Smart Albums is one of the few I have installed on my Mac that still uses Intel architecture. A quick update is required because using Rosetta 2 is going back to the past.
